What is Natural Farming

Natural Farming is working with nature rather than agasint it. Observing nature and how it deals with its own problems, Example.. owls eating mice/gophers, planting flowers and plants that attract beneficial bugs to deal with pests. Forest floors and praries die back/shed leaves and add a layer of mulch that will protect the bugs, hold moisture, aid in decomposition that adds nutrients, protect seeds until they’re ready to emerge. Its using plants to make fertilizer and pest control. Using the nutrient rich ash and biochar the destructive fire creates to restart and support life. Using good microbes to over power the bad microbes to create a thriving environment. Creating a deep mulch in the chicken coop that will collect their manure that attracts bugs and fly larve they can eat and mulch floor will eventual be turned into compost.

In our busy world we arn’t in nature as much and not observing how it functions.
